Brief History:
Adolf Hitler: 1889 – 1945 was a German politician of an Austrian origin who presided the National Socialist German Workers Party known also as the Nazi Party. He ruled Germany as a totalitarian and absolute dictator from 1933 to 1945. He joined the Nazi Party in 1920 and became its leader in 1921 so quickly due to his skills as politician and his oratory gift. As a young boy, Hitler had shown distinctive natural talent as a painter especially when he visited Vienna and saw the architectural designs around him. Later on, and to follow his passion to become an artist, he joined Vienna Academy of Fine Art at the age of 18. Confidently, he took the two-day entrance exam and after a long and impatient anticipation of his results, he was struck with unexpected failure. He was told that he lacks the basics and the talent to be an artist and his art does not appreciate the human form, and it is much better for him to be an architect! Feeling despondent and depressed, he went back home to his mother who was dying of caner to make things even worse for him to bear. Few days before the end of WW2, he married his long-loved mistress Eva Braun, who allegedly committed suicide days later after the marriage and all resources claim that Hitler’s body was never found and he survived the war. Hitler managed successfully to occupy most of Europe within three years with the assistance of what was known as the Axis. They together expanded their territories to reach east and Southeast Asia and some parts of northern Africa and the Pacific Ocean. His armies were responsible of a series of atrocities during the war. It’s been said that they conducted systematic killing of almost 17 million people and that includes the famous genocide, also known as The Holocaust, where an estimate of 5 million Jews were killed mercilessly!
Finally, his famous book Mein Kampf, or My Struggle in English described Hitler’s ideology regarding politics and also combined his own autobiography. It consists of two volumes with 12 chapters in the first and 15 chapters in the second. Whether good or bad, an inspiration to some people or evil to others, this man changed the course of history and proclaimed himself as an iconic and charismatic leader whose admirers still exist till today. Now, let’s have a look at these unforgettable pictures of him in different occasions.

Hitler did not have children. I'm sure that first picture was just a photo-op.
When I watched the documentary, Architecture of Doom
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Architecture-of-Doom-A
I was surprised to see that Hitler was apparently a fairly skilled architectural artist; however, that is the only positive thing that can be said about him.
"Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future."
Adolf Hitler
That's the kind of person he was.
Interesting.
So this is what it's like to look into the eyes of "Satan"
I echo one of the other comments. He appears to be so talented; it's unfortunate that his energies were not spent on more positive efforts for humanity.
I don't imagine his children viewed him the way that history will. Funny. I am a father of four. I love my children dearly and would give my life for them. I am a doting affectionate father. I wonder what Hitler felt for his children?
Hmmmm....
What paranormal activity in your cranium lead you to conclude such an abnormal hypothesis? I mean love is an emotion that your brain emotes when you eyes catch a glimpse of another homosapian of the oposite (or not) sex. Sometimes this feeling is associated with power which is obviously what happenned to Hitler's wife and to vfhsdjfvsujvfbhdfvbhjgbjhfvgkjfbhodsiutvsouab (sorry an aracnid used its limbs to creep upon my keypad and hurl)
lkdfsfnv, I agree. How could anyone fall in love with a man so evil (and derpy)?!
HES AN UGLEH MAN!!ISIDE AND OUT!! THE DERP ACTUALLY HAD A WIFE!!!? WTF!!!
I may not agree with some of his policies but i admire the man Hitler. There was something in him which reminds me of my self. The passion, the hunger and the will to dominate ;-)
You know Hitler imprisoned Jehovah's Witnesses over 10 years before the holocaust, keeping them in prison over their religion and toturing, hanging and beheading thousands. And although Jewish people were condemned for their ethnicity, Jehovah's Witnesses were given a chance to either sign a paper giving up their faith or die for their religion.....as history shows they would not turn against God and most were killed. Hitler was a horrible man and I just wanted to point out that sadly Jehovah's Witnesses are never mentioned among the millions of people who died during the holocaust as well...just as the Jewish in the concentration camps had the Star of David as their sign on their clothes, so the Jehovah's witnesses had the purple triangles on theirs.
This hub holds a very intense subject matter, and you handled it well. The photos speak volumes.
hello Shamel...thanks for directing me to the brilliant hubs here..particularly this one. When i read Mein Kampf(didn't, couldn't complete it though), i couldn't help wondering how a man could go on to become what he did..as i read your compilations above, i was reminded of a fav quote of mine...when Hitler, after failing the exam, comes back to his mother, dying of Cancer...he says to her "mother, I'll be an artist someday. i feel it in me." and we know...what an artist that man was who changed the course of History.
was so moved When I saw the movie "Life is Beautiful". No matter how much we want to think of the factors that made him what he was...none of his actions seems to be justifiable.
Hands down, one of the best hubs I've read up to date. Great work.
Nice piece, Shamelabboush!
I believe there is good and bad in everyone, rather than to see him only as a maniac, I think of this: his nation was suffering because they got shortchanged in the aftermath of the first world war. The abject poverty of his people, unemployment rates and food-lines, combined with the regime of violence that he suffered at the hands of his father caused him to become one of the most succesful dictators.
Nothing happens in a vacuum though. His actions fell on fertile ground in Germany. There was a call for a strong man to relieve the suffering... They were looking for somebody to blame...
How many times have you since heard people call for a strong man? For strong leadership? How many times have you heard a certain religion being made out to be the root of all evil? Or a certain culture or race of people? How many will have to die the next time a strong man rises to power? What does it take for us to stop history from repeating itself?
I actually do lol, when you have intensely studied someone for 2 years you never forget, 20th April !
Hitler and the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich was my specialist subject at school. I know the bugger inside out plus he has the same birthday as my daughter, nice one mate !
his painting is good besides the other pictures.
Truely, this man can not smile! Well, he killed all those people, definitely he will not...
As pointed out he never smiled.. how sad. Hitler amazes me... just in the way a single man could have such a big impact on people and history. Thanks for this hub. ^_^
That was so well put together, the thing that amazes me about him is the amount of times people tried to kill him, yet he survived all of them. :)
The atrocities that were committed under his leadership were so horrific that no matter what else he may have accomplished, that is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Hitler. He was so charismatic and people wanted a change in the economy that they were lulled into wanting to believe in him. But what he started was pure and simple evil on a massive scale. He not only killed Jews, but others who disagreed with his politics as well. The Jews got the brunt of it because of his feeling that his Aryan race was superior to theirs.
Good photos, BTW.
Interesting way to present one of the people, who, as you said, has had to greatest impact on the world in the 20th C.
You seem to try to stay objective, but on a subject such as this, you can't be objective. Please note that in none of the pictures, even from childhood, even with children, he never smiles.
I wonder what that says about the man.
PS. Despite all rumours, Hitler also committed suicide together with Eva Braun.
